No, our bags are unscented for those who prefer a neutral option.
What sizes are available for Chowie bags?
Currently, we offer standard-sized 320mm x 225mm bags suitable for most dog breeds.
Each roll contains 15 bags, and we offer three box sizes:
- Small Box – 60 bags (4 rolls)
- Medium Box – 180 bags (12 rolls)
- Big Box – 360 bags (24 rolls)
Are the bags easy to open and detach from the roll?
Yes, our bags are designed for easy separation and opening, much more so than regular plastic and compostable bags, ensuring a hassle-free experience every time.
Do Chowie bags fit standard leash dispensers?
Absolutely, our rolls are compatible with most standard leash dispensers.
How should I store the bags to maintain their quality?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Are the bags resistant to leaks and tears?

How should I dispose of Chowie bags?
Simply place them in your regular bin—they’re designed to biodegrade in landfill conditions.
How long does it take for Chowie bags to break down?
Decomposition time varies based on the landfill environment, but our technology significantly accelerates the process compared to traditional plastic bags. Independent tests on the additive we use have shown plastics breaking down in 3–5 years under landfill conditions, whereas conventional plastics can take hundreds to thousands of years.
Can I use Chowie bags for purposes other than pet waste?
Yes, while they’re designed for pet waste, you can use them for other small waste disposal needs.
How much is shipping?
Standard Shipping: $10, or FREE for orders over $60.
Express Shipping: $15, or FREE for orders over $120.
How long does delivery take?
Standard shipping typically takes 2–5 business days, and express shipping takes 1–2 business days.
We use Australia Post for all deliveries, so our shipping times are in line with their delivery estimates. You can check detailed delivery times for your location using Australia Post's delivery speeds and coverage tool.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within Australia only.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Simply return all but one roll in new, unused condition for a refund (excluding shipping costs).
What if my product is faulty?
If you receive a defective product, contact us at hello@chowiedog.com, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
Who covers return postage?
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for postage. For faulty products, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
